A couple of years ago 2024, I have been interested in the Mother Road - Route 66. In March 2026, my mom and I went on a road trip to California for Route 66. We started in Needles, CA. That night we went to Wagon Wheel Restaurant for dinner on Route 66 - 2420 Needles Hwy. If you have the Route 66 passport you can go there or Needles Museum - 929 Front St. Where the museum is used to be a JC Penny store before 1955. For the stamp to put in your passport. Next area we stopped at was Goffs. The building that is there is Goffs Schoolhouse - 37198 Lanfair Road, G-15. You can get a stamp there for your passport. It was closed when we were there to see inside. Next, we went to Amboy to see Roy’s Motel and Cafe. For lunch we ate at Ludlow Cafe. Very good food. Next town was Barstow.
